and for your rating, it wont be 75, it will be whatever integer the 75% is.
for example: if in .tcd file your ratings are: LicenseRatesText=35%,55%,75%,95% your LicenseRatesLevels=35,55,75,95
and they would be considered 1,2,3,4. so for rating level in .srv you could put RB4|3 for 75% rating requirement
the extreme movements are simply to use your own bodyweight to generate g-forces...
ideally, you would want to use it in a dark room, so as not to have any visual reference points other than the screen itself.
ever hop in a carnival ride that lets you spin forward freely? think about what you feel as it pauses to let others on....
@Bmx: why give them more work, when the issue is completing the work that already needs to be done? And you won't get realistic oval racing with unrealistic cars anyway.
Leave the ovals to rFactor, NH and iRacing, and let LFS be what it is.
I really don't like to respond to such posts, but I for one have taken the attitude to overlook what LFS lacks simply because of how much I enjoy the people who play it.
But if fewer people play on a daily basis, my arguement becomes moot.
TBH honest, I don't know crap about what it takes to make, maintain or develop a sim. But I can say that if whoever is responsible for doing so is overwhelmed, or just doesn't give two shits, let someone else help.
Everyone has their limits, and there's always someone willling to step up and help out.
It is the same guy, and yes Barberton is awful. Coming out of turn 2 going uphill is stupid. But the funniest thing i've ever seen at a race track was painted on the side of a giant tire in turn 3. It said, "Stop, turn, go". Which is essentially the best way to get around that place....lol.
Seriously though, Brad and his brother both raced years ago in the Main Event Racing series, which uses 600+ hp 2700 lb. late models on 3/8 to 5/8 mile tracks, against some pretty tough competiton. Racing against guys like Rich Roher and Gary Whipkey can either scare the shit outta you or make you a hard-nosed competitor fighting for your place and respect, so you end up carrying that behavior with you for a long time...
As a matter of fact, i think you can browse some old pics at www.maineventracingseries.com . i used to crew chief a late model on 2006/2007 in that series. Bad-ass cars.
